Gender Plan

Gender and Intersectionality Perspective in EUROSPHERE
The Gender and intersectionality perspective is integrated into the EUROSHERE project firstly as a horizontal perspective that cuts across project’s general research focus. Secondly, a separate workpackage (WP7) is dedicated for the gender and intersectionality research. Accordingly, the following steps are taken:

  • EUROSPHERE’s theoretical methodological approaches as well as the data collection and analysis tools takes into consideration the factor of gender and intersectionality (WP1-2);
  • The interview respondents include men and women with different statuses (WP3):
  • Mini research sessions shall be organized at each project meeting addressing gender issues, with the participation of both men and women researchers (WP1-8).

  • At least 2 of 5 members of the Eurosphere Steering Committee shall be women;
  • In recruitment of researchers to the project, the objective is to have at least 40% women scientists both at the overall project level as well as in the national teams;

  • A network of women scientists in the project shall contribute to the WP9: Research Training and Mobility and WP10: Management of Knowledge;
  • Informal meetings of this network shall be facilitated at the annual project meetings which most of the scientists attend;
